OVERVIEW:
We are seeking a Ready Mix Concrete Drivers to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely transporting ready mix concrete to construction sites, ensuring timely delivery, and upholding excellent customer service standards.
We will provide training to drivers inexperienced with operating a mixer truck, and will receive the appropriate ride-alongs and site assistance to be successful. We have a comprehensive training program and opportunity for industry certifications that ensures you will be a professional at this trade.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Safe Operation: Safely operate a ready mix concrete truck according to company and industry standards, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.
Concrete Delivery: Transport ready mix concrete to construction sites for our customers.
Plant Assistance: Assist plant manager with tasks around the plant.
Vehicle Maintenance: Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the truck, ensuring that the vehicle is in good working condition. Report any mechanical issues or maintenance needs promptly.
Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries, including courteous interactions with customers and site personnel. Follow instructions for concrete placement as directed by site supervisors.
Documentation: Complete and maintain accurate records of deliveries.
Safety Compliance: Adhere strictly to safety protocols and guidelines, including wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and following company safety policies at all times.
Communication: Maintain effective communication with dispatchers, supervisors, and other team members to ensure smooth and efficient delivery schedules.
REQUIREMENTS:
Commercial Driver's License (CDL): Valid CDL Class A or B with a clean driving record. Steel Toed Boots.
Experience: Previous experience operating a ready mix concrete truck or similar heavy-duty vehicles, such as a dump truck is preferred but not required.
Physical Fitness: Ability to perform physical tasks such as climbing the ladder of your truck to check the load or add admixtures and add chutes to your truck, bend, kneel, crouch, and wear appropriate PPE.
Safety Consciousness: Strong commitment to safety protocols and safe driving practices.
Customer Service Skills: Excellent interpersonal skills with a customer-focused approach and the ability to interact professionally with clients and colleagues.
Reliability: Dependable and punctual to ensure customer placements happen on time and at the proper rate of delivery.

Sitework Laborer
Hughes Bros., Inc. is a Commercial Sitework Contractor, who performs excavation and backfill of commercial buildings, parking lots, sidewalks, landscaping, underground utilities, and other aspects of commercial site work.
Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated Sitework Laborer to join our construction team. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing various tasks to aid daily operations at a construction site, contributing to the timely and efficient completion of sitework projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with site preparation, including clearing, layout, excavation, grading, and landscaping.
- Operate a variety of hand and power tools, as well as some heavy machinery, under supervision.
- Load and unload construction materials, and move materials to work areas.
- Follow instructions from supervisors to perform manual labor tasks
- Maintain tools and equipment, ensuring they are safely stored and in working order.
- Follow all safety protocols on the construction site to minimize risk of injury.

Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and skilled Site Work Foreman to oversee and manage various construction projects from start to finish. The Site Work Foreman will be responsible for coordinating and supervising site activities, ensuring adherence to safety protocols, managing crew members, and collaborating with project managers to achieve project goals efficiently. Hughes Bros Inc primarily performs work on commercial sitework projects in the Greater Bangor Area. We do not go out of a work radius that prevents us from being home every night. Responsibilities:
- Project Coordination: Supervise and coordinate all on-site construction activities, ensuring adherence to plans, specifications, and safety standards.

This position is for a Heavy Equipment Operator who's primary job will be operating an Excavator in a safe, efficient and productive manner. The ideal candidate will also be proficient other equipment such as Bulldozer, Skid Steer, Loader, Roller, Etc. Pay will be based on experience and versatility. We work within a 40 mile radius and are home every night and this position will be offered as both full-time seasonal or full-time year-round. Year round employees would be part of the plow crew and assist with maintenance.
Summary of Qualifications:
- Ability to operate equipment such as an Excavator, Bulldozer, Skidsteer, Vibratory Roller, Grader, Backhoe, etc. in a safe and efficient manner
